Qormi registered a fine 3-0 win over Zejtun Corinthians in one of the three BOV First Division matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.

Luke Farrugia put Qormi ahead on the 68th and Chris Matombo doubled the score on the 81st when he converted a penalty. In added time, Luke Farrugia made it 3-0.

Pembroke Athleta registered a second consecutive win as they defeated St. George’s 3-1. Mattia Zarb gave Pembroke an early lead on the 7th minute and Luka Mijic doubled the score on the 23rd. In added time, Dylan Caruana pulled one back for St. George’s but there was still time enough for Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza to make it 3-1.

Vittoriosa Stars and Mqabba shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Oscar Guerrero put Vittoriosa ahead on the 15th minute but an own goal on the 67th restored equilibrium.
