San Gwann and Mgarr United registered wins in the two matches in programme from the BOV Second Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Monday.

San Gwann defeated Luqa St. Andrew’s 2-0. Luca Mallia opened the score on the 5th minute and Owen Spiteri sealed the issue with a second goal on the 74th.

On the other hand, Mgarr United beat Zurrieq 2-0 courtesy of Lyden Micallef on the 8th minute and Jack Vella on the 46th.

Melita lead the way with 7 points, followed by Kalkara on 6, Marsa and San Gwann 5, Zurrieq, Mgarr, Mellieha and Xghajra 4, Marsaxlokk 3, Rabat 2, Zabbar, Birzebbuga and Luqa 1.
