Two Premier League players suspended

Two Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Paul Fenech (Balzan) and Augusto Rene Caseres (Floriana) are ruled out of the weekend’s matches as Balzan and Floriana take on Gudja United and Tarxien Rainbows respectively.

Gilbert Martin (Fgura) was handed a three-match ban while Sheldon Grech (Qormi) and Jeremy Busuttil (Zejtun) were banned for one match.

Andrew Abela (San Gwann), Alexander Cauchi (Xghajra), Karl Sacco (Zurrieq) and Zabbar coach Dennis Apap were banned for one match in Division 2 while in Division 3, Adrian Bonavia (Marsaskala) was handed a three match ban, Nicholas Joe Cauchi (Msida) was suspended for two matches and Gharghur staff member Shandre Borg was banned for one match.
