Attard are the new leaders in the BOV Third Division as they came from behind to defeat Mtarfa 3-1 at the Sirens Stadium on Sunday.

Omar Rababah put Mtarfa ahead on the 2nd minute but Nicholas Schembri equalised five minutes from the end of the first half. Bledi Alla made it 2-1 on the 65th and Nicholas Schembri added another on the 79th.

Msida St. Joseph defeated Dingli Swallows 3-0 courtesy of Luke Galea on the 10th minute and a brace by Ciro Quaranta in stoppage time. Msida therefore join Gharghur, Ghaxaq and Siggiewi in second place.

Attard lead the way with 12 points, followed Gharghur, Ghaxaq, Msida and Siggiewi 10, Marsaskala 9, Kirkop 8, Mtarfa and Dingli 3, Sta. Venera and Mdina 2, Ta’ Xbiex 0.
