After making his debut for the national team in November 2006 against Lithuania, Andrew Hogg soon established himself as the first choice in goal and went on to play sixty seven matches for the national team.

On the other hand, Alfred Effiong made his debut in a match against Georgia in March 2015. He scored four goals in thirty seven matches.
