A goal by Karl Caruana early in the second half handed Kirkop United a narrow win over Gharghur in one of the two BOV Third Division matches in programme at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

Ghaxaq, on the other hand, defeated Mdina Knights 3-1.

Dean Agius put Ghaxaq ahead and three minutes later, the same player doubled the score. Jurgen Gerada scored a third goal nine minutes in the second half but Ryan Sciberras pulled one back on the 76th minute.
