Jose Carlos Nogueira Junior is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for November 2019.

The Xewkija forward, better known as Juninho, joined the Tigers this season following a career across Bulgaria, Armenia and Turkey. The 34 year old is a very versatile attacker and also very effective in creating attacking opportunities from the wings.

Juninho was the main protagonist in Xewkija’s 8-1 routing of Munxar Falcons in the BOV GFA Cup preliminary round, where finding themselves a goal under, Juninho scored the equalizer and set up a number of his team’s conversions.  He also distinguished himself in Xewkija’s 2-0 win over Xaghra United in the BOV GFA First

Division.

Juninho received his commemorative trophy from Horace Laudi, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta and selected Fondazzjoni Arka to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
