Msida St. Joseph came back from three goals down as they shared the spoils in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Mtarfa in one of the two matches from the BOV Third Division at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

Daniel Grima put Mtarfa ahead on the 25th minute, Kristian Galea doubled the score on the 34th and Shawn Micallef made it 3-0 on the 35th. Msida reduced the gap one in added time before the end of the first half thanks to Ciro Quaranta. Julian Zammit scored a second goal for Msida on the 71st and five minutes in added time, Fabio Luca Muscat notched the equaliser. 

In another match, Marsaskala held Ghaxaq in a 1-1 draw. Antoine Barbara opened the score for Marsaskala on the 36th minute but one minute from time, Jurgen Gerada converted a penalty to rescue a point for Ghaxaq.

Attard lead the way with 22 points, followed by Ghaxaq, Kirkop and Msida on 21, Siggiewi 20, Gharghur 16, Dingli 13, Marsaskala 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 6, Mdina 5 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
