Leaders Attard came back from two goals down but conceded two goals late in the game as they lost 2-4 to Dingli Swallows at the Luxol Stadium in one of the matches from the BOV Third Division in programme on Sunday.

Nikola Tasic converted penalties on the 11th and 24th to hand Dingli a two-goal lead but Nigel Spiteri pulled one back on the half-hour and Christian Farrugia equalised on the 49th. However Dario Borg made it 3-2 on the 81st and Daniel Cilia sealed the issue with another goal two minutes in added time.

A goal by Omar Smeir on the 3rd minute handed Gharghur a narrow win over Mtarfa at the Sirens Stadium.

Also at the Sirens Stadium, two goals in a minute by Ciro Quaranta between the 77th and the 78th gave Msida St. Joseph a 2-0 win over Mdina Knights.

At the Luxol Stadium, Marsaskala defeated Ta’ Xbiex 2-1. Margeith Scicluna opened the score for Marsaskala on the 35th minute and although Guilherme Kalil da Rosa equalised on the 63rd, three minutes later, Joseph Chetcuti notched the winner.

Attard lead the way with 28 points, followed by Siggiewi on 26, Gharghur, Kirkop and Msida 25, Ghaxaq 21, Dingli 20, Marsaskala 15, Mdina 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 6 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
