Ten Premier League players suspended

Ten Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Henry Bonello was handed a three-match ban while Diego Venancio (Floriana), Sacha Borg (Gzira), Sergio Raphael dos Anjos (Hibs), Clayton Giordimaina (Lija), Edafe Uzeh (Santa Lucia), Igor Misan (Senglea), Tamsir Jammeh (Sirens), Eduardo Rosado (Tarxien) and Ryan Camilleri (Valletta) were suspended for one match.

Ryan Camilleri and Henry Bonello are therefore ruled out of the clash with Birkirkara on Wednesday with Bonello also missing the games against Santa Lucia and Senglea. Venancio will skip the clash with Gudja, Sacha Borg the match against Zejtun, Sergio Raphael the game against Lija, Clayton Giordimaina and Igor Misan the match against Senglea vs Lija, Edafe Uzeh the clash with Valletta, Eduardo Rosado the game against Senglea and Tamsir Jammeh the game against Mosta,

In the BOV Challenge League, Jonathan Bondin and Clifford Gatt Baldacchino (Marsa), Josuel Spiteri and Rundell Winchester (Marsaxlokk), Gaston Ezequiel Cesani (Mqabba), Uchenna Calistus Umeh and Clifford Gauci (San Gwann) and Josuael Azzopardi (Swieqi) were suspended for one match.

On the other hand, Jeremy George Azzopardi (Ghaxaq), Jacob Farrugia (Mellieha), Christian Caruana and Julian Zammit (Msida), Maximilian Borg Bartolo and McAllister Clinch (Mtarfa) together with Birzebbuga offical Kyle Lautier. were all banned for one match.
