Futsal: Haladas prove too strong for Luxol

Luxol lost 2-6 to Haladas of Hungary in the first match from Group 5 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League main round at the University Sports Hall on Wednesday.

Zoltán Dróth put Haladas ahead and Henrique doubled the score. Luxol reduced the gap through Everton Veve but a Luiggi Longo penalty restored the two goal lead for Haladas. Maicon Silva ‘Maikinho’ scored a second goal for Luxol but Henrique made it 4-2 for the Hungarians. In the second half, Zoltán Dróth and Luiggi Longo scored again for a final 6-2 score.

Record Bielsko-Biala of Poland defeated Hammarby of Sweden 7-2. On Thursday, Haladas take on Record Bielsko-Biala while Luxol face Hammarby.
