After winning their first four matches, Attard were held in 1-1 draw by Gharghur in a match from Group A of the National Amateur League at the Luxol Stadium on Saturday.
Adrian Paul Sammut put Attard ahead two minutes in the second half but Davide Mula equalised twelve minutes from time.
At the Sirens Stadium, Dingli Swallows and Msida St. Joseph earned a point each in a 2-2 draw.
Justin Zammit put Msida ahead on the 12th but two minutes later, Dario Borg levelled matters. Mark Camilleri restored the lead on the 52nd but eight minutes from time, Dario Borg restored equilibrium thanks to a penalty.
In Group B, Marsaskala defeated neighbours Zabbar St. Patrick 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. This was the fourth win for Marsaskala and the first defeat for St. Patrick.
Fabrizio Zammit handed Marsaskala the lead after just five minutes and although Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza equalised just before half-time, Adrian Carabott notched the winner on the 64th.
On the other hand, at the Luxol Stadium, Mtarfa registered their first win as they defeated Qormi 2-1.
Ryan Sciberras put Mtarfa ahead on the 39th and Alejandro Brincat doubled the score on the hour. Eight minutes later, Ryan Gafa pulled one back for Qormi.
