Malta international attacking midfielder Luke Gambin will be playing in England once again after joining Sutton United FC.
London-born Gambin, who is 29 years old, had started his career at AFC Wimbledon and then joined Barnet from where he had spells on loan at Metropolitan Police and Hendon Town. He moved to Luton Town in January 2017, spending season 2018/19 on loan at Crawley Town. In summer 2019, Gambin joined Colchester United but moved to Newport County on loan in January 2021.
Last summer, Gambin joined Hamrun Spartans after agreeing a long-term deal but the two parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract at the end of the season.
Sutton United play in League Two. They finished eighth last season, missing out on the play-offs for just one point.
