Zejtun Corinthians scored four goals in the final half hour as they beat newly-promoted Attard 4-1 at the Centenary Stadium in one of four matches from the BOV Challenge League in programme on Sunday.

James Brincat opened the score on the hour and five minutes later, Jairo Santos de Oliveira Filho doubled the scoring. Clyde Borg made it 3-0 on the 74th and six minutes later, Kurt Borg scored Zejtun’s fourth. Brandon Bray scored a consolation goal for Attard four minutes from time.

Qrendi and St. Andrews shared the spoils in a goalless draw at the Victor Tedesco Stadium while San Gwann beat newly-promoted Mtarfa 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium thanks to a goal by Adam Falzon three minutes from the end of the first half.

In another match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Swieqi United were held in a 2-2 draw by newly-promoted Zurrieq. Melvin Akingboye put Zurrieq ahead on the 10th minute but Johan Castano equalised just before the end of the first half. Nine minutes in the second half, Castano put Swieqi ahead but Jeremy Busuttil equalised for Zurrieq on the 77th.
