One-match ban for two Premier League players

Two Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Gary Camilleri of Sirens and Brandon Paiber of Valletta are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Paiber will skip the game against his former team Floriana while Camilleri will miss the game against Hamrun.

Valletta FC team manager Gerard Ellul was also banned for one match.

Meanwhile in the Challenge League, Santiago Martinez (St. Andrews) and Henrique Maciel de Souza (Qrendi) were banned for three matches and two matches respectively. Camilo del Castillo Escobar (Attard), Edmond Agius (Sliema), Matthew Spiteri (Tarxien) and Kurt Camilleri (Vittoriosa) were all suspended for one match.

In the National Amateur League, Glenn Brincat (Birzebbuga) and Nathan Sciberras (Dingli) were banned for three matches.
