One-match ban for three Premier League players

Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Angel Yesid Torres Quinones (Balzan), Osvaldo Iorio (Birkirkara) and Miguel Angel Alba (Santa Lucia) are therefore ruled out of the weekend’s matches.

Torres will miss the game against Balzan, Iorio the clash with Gudja while Alba will skip the game against Marsaxlokk.

Meanwhile in the Challenge League, Miguel Ciantar (Vittoriosa) was banned for two matches while Clive Spiteri (Vittoriosa) was suspended for one match.

In the National Amateur League, Tyrone Grech (Siggiewi) was handed a four-match ban. Sebastian Perdomo Esquivel (Senglea) was banned for two matches while Christopher Cutajar (Birzebbuga) was suspended for one match.
