Inter, Red Bull Salzburg arrive in Malta for training camp, friendly matches

Inter and Red Bull Salzburg arrived in Malta on Sunday afternoon ahead of training camps they will be carrying out apart from friendly matches.

Italian giants Inter will be staying in Malta until Friday while RB Salzburg will be leaving on Thursday.

Two friendly matches are scheduled – the first between Inter and Gzira United on Monday and the second between Inter and Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday. Both matches will be played at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, kick-off at 18:00.

The Inter squad which travelled to Malta includes the following players: Samir Handanovic, Alex Cordaz, Gabriel Brazão, Nikolaos Botis, Milan Skriniar, Francesco Acerbi, Alessandro Bastoni, Alessandro Fontanarosa, Federico Dimarco, Robin Gosens, Raoul Bellanova, Kristjan Asllani, Nicolò Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Edin Dzeko, Valentin Carboni, Tommaso Guercio, Stefano Di Pentima, Aleksandar Stankovic, Nicolò Biral, Dennis Curatolo, Nikola Iliev, Andrea Pelamatti, Silas Andersen and Jan Zuberek.

Netherlands duo Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij, Argentinians Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa, Marcelo Brozovic of Croatia, Romelu Lukaku of Belgium and goalkeeper Andre Onana of Cameroon are missing due to their commitments with their national teams in the World Cup.

With regards to Red Bull Salzburg, they have four players unavailable as they are playing with their national teams in the World Cup namely, Philipp Köhn, Noah Okafor, Strahinja Pavlovic and Luka Sucic. Nicolas Capaldo, Fernando, Lucas Gourna-Douath, Oumar Solet, Samson Tijani and Andreas Ulmer are ruled injured and they will have three young players from FC Liefering – Raphael Hofer, Karim Konate and Lukas Wallner – joining the squad.
