Sirens returned to winning ways as they defeated Zebbug Rangers 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.
A win which puts Sirens in tenth place on 22 points, two ahead of Marsaxlokk and eight ahead of Zebbug who now lie just three points ahead of Santa Lucia.
Sirens scored the all-important goal eight minutes in the second half when off a cross from the left by Jacob Walker, Leandro Almeida deflected the ball past goalkeeper Jamie Azzopardi for an own goal.
