Zabbar St. Patrick will be facing Mgarr United in the Izibet Amateur League Promotion Play-Offs as they defeated Kalkara United 2-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Round 3 on Wednesday.
Following a goalless first half, Vadim Gulceac put Kalkara ahead two minutes in the second half but Nick Borg equalised six minutes later and Kurt Borg notched the winner on the 77th.
Zabbar will therefore meet Mgarr who lost the Promotion Decider to Luqa St. Andrew’s on Sunday. The Play-Offs final is scheduled at 11:00 at the Centenary Stadium.
Three days later, the two teams will face each other in the final of the National Amateur Cup. The match on Wednesday is scheduled at 19:00 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
