England hit seven past North Macedonia to make it four wins out of four

England maintained their perfect record in Group C of the EURO 2024 qualifiers after defeating North Macedonia 7-0 at Old Trafford on Monday.

Harry Kane put England ahead on the 29th and Bukayo Sako doubled the score nine minutes later but just before the end of the first half, Marcus Rashford made it 3-0. Saka scored twice within the first six minutes of the second half, hitting the back of the net on the 47th and 51st to complete a hat-trick and extend the lead to five-nil. Substitute Kalvin Phillips scored England’s sixth on the 64th and Harry Kane converted a penalty on the 73rd.

England lead the way with 12 points, followed by Ukraine on six, Italy and North Macedonia 3 and Malta 0.

On match-day 5, on September 9, Ukraine take on England while North Macedonia host Italy in Skopje. Three days later, Malta hosts North Macedonia at Ta’ Qali while Italy meet Ukraine at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
