Senglea Athletic coach Edgar Degabriele has won the Izibet Coach of Round Two Amateur League award.

The month of March was particularly significant for Degabriele in winning yet again this award, as his side Senglea Athletic won twice and drew the other, to gather more valuable points that ultimately meant promotion to the Challenge League as Champions.

A 3-1 win over Birżebbuga St Peter’s was then followed with a 2-0 success over Qormi, and though unable to secure victory, they maintained a clean sheet in a 0-0 stalemate against Żabbar St. Patrick.

In April, Edgar Degabriele also led Senglea Athletic to being crowned National Amateur League Champions after a 2-0 win in the Championship Decider over Msida St Joseph, this was followed by the National Amateur League Super Cup glory after a narrow 1-0 win over Żabbar.
