The Malta Football Association released the first set of fixtures, covering the period September – December for the BOV Premier League, BOV Challenge League and IZIBET National Amateur League for season 2023/24.
The BOV Premier League 2023/24 will kick-off on Friday September 15 with the match between Marsaxlokk and newly-promoted Naxxar Lions at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 19:00.
Clubs will be playing four matches, including a mid-week programme on September 26/27, before the first break due to the October international window. Another three match days will be played between October 21/22 and November 4/5 before another international break. Four match-days are scheduled between November and December with no games scheduled for December 23/24 and 30/31. The league would resume on January 6/7 followed by the IZIBET FA Trophy Round of 32 the following weekend.
Three venues will be used – the National Stadium, the Tony Bezzina Stadium and the Centenary Stadium.

The BOV Challenge League will kick-off will kick-off on September 16. Usually four matches would be played on Saturdays and four on Sundays. All matches will be played at the Centenary Stadium and Victor Tedesco Stadium.

The IZIBET National Amateur League will kick-off on Friday September 15.
Apart from the Centenary Stadium, the Luxol Stadium, the Sirens Stadium and the Victor Tedesco Stadium, the Charles Abela Stadium will be used as well. Matches will be played usually from Fridays to Sundays.
