Newly-promoted Sliema Wanderers signed twenty-six year old Ivorian right back Denis Christ Damsen Kouao and Cameroonian twenty-six year old attacking midfielder Joseph Minala.

Denis Kouao played for ASEC Mimosas and AFAD Djekanou in Ivory Coast before moving to Slovenia to join NK Tabor Sezana.

On the other hand, Minala moved to Italy at an early age, playing for Vigor Perconti, lazio, Bari, Latina and Salernitana before a spell with QD Huanghai in China. He returned to Italy where he played for Lucchese and Olbia. Earlier this year, he moved to Liepaja in Latvia.

The Wanderers had earlier signed Jean Borg, Samuel Gomes da Mata, Gustavo Alcino and Israel Duarte dos Santos.
