Hibernians secured the services of Spanish Romanian twenty two year old right back Robert Bairam.

Bairam played for Salamanca, Real Madrid, Villareal and CD Roda at youth level before playing for Villareal’s third team. Later, he spent one year at CF Intercity before moving to Malta last summer to join Santa Lucia.

The Paolites, who have just appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Samuel Okoh, Claudio Bonanni, Armen Hovhannisyan, Giannis Bastianos, Eriks de Souza Santos Pereira and Robert Bairam.
