One-match ban for six Premier League players

Six Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disiciplinary Commissioner.

Paul Fenech and Andre Prates (Balzan), Gabriel Bohrer (Gzira), Anthony Abah Obonogwu (Marsaxlokk), Daniel Opoku (Sirens) and Neil Frendo (Sliema) are therefore ruled out of match day 5.

Balzan could not count on Fenech and Prates for the clash with Hibernians; Bohrer and Opoku are ruled out of Gzira vs Sirens, Obonogwu skips the clash with Valletta and Frendo that with Hamrun.

Balzan official Peter Cipriott was also suspended for one match.

In the Challenge League, Gaetano Gesualdi (Zebbug) was suspended for one match while Zurrieq assistant coach Alessandro Ciantar was banned for four matches.

IN the National Amateur Cup, Karl Saliba (Mqabba), Kurt Borg (Mtarfa) and Jake Bruno (Ta’ Xbiex) were all handed a one-match ban.
