Michele Marcolini names final squad ahead of Italy, Ukraine qualifiers

The head coach of the national teams, Michele Marcolini, has announced the final squad of 28 players for the forthcoming Euro 2024 Qualifiers matches against Italy and Ukraine.

The game against Italy is slated for Saturday, October 14th, kick-off at 20:45, at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari while the clash with Ukraine is set for Tuesday, October 17th, at the National Stadium, also with a 20:45 kick-off time.

Eight players did not make the final cut, namely Matthew Grech (Zabbar St Patrick’s FC), Jake Vassallo (Mosta FC), Luke Tabone (Haverfordwest Count A.F.C. – UK), Karl Micallef (Gudja United FC), Shaun Dimech (Valletta FC), Jake Grech (Balzan FC), Kurt Zammit (Birkirkara FC) and Jan Busuttil (Floriana FC).
