Following the draw with Naxxar Lions last week, Floriana dropped another two points in a 1-1 draw with Gudja United at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
The Greens, therefore, fall two points behind leaders Hamrun, moving four points ahead of Marsaxlokk and Birkirkara.
Gudja, on the other hand, earn their fourth point – the fourth draw in six matches to stay third from bottom.
Following a goalless first half, Gudja took the lead three minutes in the second half when off a Mathias Muchardi corner from the left, Conor Borg headed home past goalkeeper Georgi Kitanov.
The Greens equalised on the 70th minute when off a cross by Carlo Zammit Lonardelli from the right, Maksim Valadzko hit home from close range.
