Zebbug Rangers registered their first win in the BOV Challenge League as the beat Msida St. Joseph 3-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Miguel Perez Jimenez put Zebbug ahead on the 34th, Allan da Silva Oliveira doubled the score on the 45th and Ayrton Mizzi made it 3-0 on the 54th.
At the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Zejtun Corinthians came back from two goals down to hold Pieta’ Hotspurs in a 2-2 draw. Yuto Morita put the Hotspurs ahead on the 7th minute and Kian Leonardi converted a penalty on the 26th. However Fahad Bardiro reduced the gap two minutes from the end of the first half and Josiah Mallia equalised on the 70th.
In another match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Senglea Athletic and Tarxien Rainbows shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
