Zabbar St. Patrick regained the top spot in the BOV Challenge League as a goal by Duvan Mosquera Torres eleven minutes in the second half handed them a narrow win over St. Andrews at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.
A goal by Shawn Darmanin on the 73rd minute handed Zurrieq a narrow win over Luqa St. Andrew’s in another match at the Centenary Stadium while Fgura United came from behind to beat Attard 2-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium thanks to goals by Michael Gatt and Johan Alberto Castano on the 53rd and 56th after Bledi Alla had put Attard ahead on the 33rd.
Zabbar lead the way with 25 points, followed by Melita on 23, Fgura 21, Marsa and Zurrieq 19, Pieta’ and Senglea 15, Lija 14, Swieqi 12, Tarxien, Luqa and Zejtun 9, Zebbug 8, Attard 5, St. Andrews 4 and Msida 3.
