Swieqi United’s Salamatu Abdulai and Valletta’s Francesca Bartolo won the Assikura Women’s Youth League Player of the Month awards for August/September and October/November 2023 respectively.

Ghanian forward Salamatu Abdulai moved to Malta last January to play for Swieqi United. On the other hand, a product of Zebbug Rangers, Bartolo played for Mtarfa Zebbug and Raiders before joining Valletta this summer.

So far, Abdulai scored ten goals for Swieqi United while Bartolo scored six for Valletta.
