Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Paul Mbong (Birkirkara), Walter Omar Serrano (Gudja), Ferdinando Apap (Hibernians) and Prosper Boakye Owusu (Sirens) are therefore ruled out of the next league game.

Meanwhile in the Challenge League, Kaydon Catania (Pieta’) was banned for three matches while Miguel Tabone and Joey Reno Vella (Fgura), Tensior Gusman (Marsa), Daneel Abela (Senglea), Terence Agius (Swieqi), Diver Duvan Torres Quinonens (Tarxien), Emerson Camilleri and Jack Kind (Zurrieq) were all handed a one-match ban.

Zebbug official Ian Francalanza was suspended for four matches.

On the other hand, in the Amateur League, Kyle Tanti (Birzebbuga), Isaac Galea (Kalkara), Sean Bonnici (Xghajra), Philip Camilleri, Sven Fabri and Mohamed Kara (Dingli) and Andrea Mizzi (St. George’s) were suspended for one match.

Dingli official Brendan Tanti and St. George’s official Kyla Azzopardi were both banned for two matches.
