Gzira United continued to strenghten their squad with the signing of Scottish twenty seven year old winger Kyle Spence and Ghanian twenty seven year old forward Dacosta Boadu.

Spence played for Crystal Palace and Coventry at youth level and later played for Hampton & Richmond Borough, Kingstonian FC and East Grinstead Town in England, Valdres FK, Alta IF and Oygarden FK in Norway, FC Hegelmann in Lithuania, FSV Frankfurt in Germany and Velez CF in Spain

Boadu played for Khartoum Club in Sudan, Salalah SC in Jordan and Ashanti Gold SC in Ghana before moving to Volda TI in Norway.

The Maroons had earlier signed Zachary Cassar.
