Mosta and Sirens shared the spoils in a goalless draw at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
A result which fails to satisfy either side as both were eager for the three points. Mosta are now tenth on 16 points, two ahead of Gzira and four ahead of Santa Lucia while Sirens move one point clear of bottom-placed Gudja United.
Mosta created the better chances throughout the first half but failed to turn their superiority into goals. Sirens improved in the second half but this was not enough for them to break the deadlock.
