Sirens earned another precious point in the battle against relegation as they held Marsaxlokk in a 1-1 draw at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.

The St. Paul’s Bat side move two points clear of bottom placed Gudja United but lie seven points behind Santa Lucia.

Marsaxlokk, on the other hand, remain fourth, five points behind Sliema Wanderers and two ahead of Hibernians and Birkirkara.

Leandro Atguirre put Marsaxlokk ahead on the 24th but Kemmu Degran Jackson levelled matters ten minutes in the second half.
