Santa Lucia joined Valletta and Gzira United on the 18-point mark as they registered a narrow win over Naxxar Lions at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
This second consecutive win, following the narrow win over Balzan last week, puts Alessandro Zinnari’s side just one point behind Balzan, two behind Mosta and three behind Naxxar Lions. Naxxar, in fact, have now suffered a third consecutive defeat as they have now gone five matches without a win.
