Leaders Hamrun Spartans registered an eighth consecutive win as they scored twice in the first half to beat Sirens 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
The Spartans had a perfect start, taking the lead on the 4th minute when off a Luke Montebello cross from the right, Jonny headed the ball home past goalkeeper Andrea Cassar.
Five minutes from the end of the first half, Hamrun doubled the score when off a Roko Prsa corner from the right, Steve Borg headed the ball down for Luke Montebello to hit home from close range.
