Nine Premier League players suspended

Nine Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches from the BOV Premier League.

The players are Kurt Zammit (Birkirkara), Oualid El Hasni and Maksim Valadazko (Floriana), Marcelo Dias (Gzira), Leandro Aguirre (Marsaxlokk), Joao Vitor Moura Cardoso and Takuma Yamaguchi (Naxxar), Joachim Adukor (Sliema) and Enzo Ruiz (Valletta).

In the BOV Challenge League, Dion Fava (Zabbar) was handed a two match ban while Josuael Azzopardi and Reeves Cini (Pieta’), Leo Agius (Zabbar), Jack Kind (Zurrieq), David Chidera Ejiofor and Tyrone Farrugia (Msida) were suspended for one match.

Zurrieq officials Jeffrey Camilleri and Norbert Fenech were banned for four matches and two matches respectively.

In the IZIBET Amateur League, Emanuel Cutajar (Ghaxaq) was suspended for four matches, Ricardo Silva Faria and Iven Zammit (both Qormi) for three while Ishmael Galea (Mqabba), Ryden Gatt (Rabat), Isaac Chircop and Mihaly Gidaly (Gharghur), Clive Fenech (Ghaxaq), Neil Friggieri (Kirkop), Christian Ebisindor Saint (Mgarr), Carlos Debattista (Qormi), Irvin Abela (St. George’s) and Liam Gauci (Vittoriosa) were all banned for one match.
