Melita and Zabbar St. Patrick shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in a top-of-the-table clash from the BOV Challenge League Top 6 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.
Matthew Debattista converted a penalty to put Melita ahead on the 27th but Zabbar equalised thanks to a James Scicluna penalty on the 83rd.
In another match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Zurrieq held Senglea Athletic in a 1-1 draw. Daniel Zerafa put Senglea ahead on the 17th and Christopher Baker equalised six minutes from time.
At the Centenary Stadium, Pieta’ Hotspurs and Marsa earned a point each in a 1-1 draw, goals by Augusto Rene Caseres for Marsa on the 15th and Kurt Briffa on the 59th.
Melita and Zabbar lead the way with 37 points, followed by Pieta’ on 31, Senglea 30, Marsa 29 and Zurrieq 27.
