The Malta FA released the list of approved candidates for the elective General Assembly scheduled to be held on the 15th March.
President Bjorn Vassallo will be contested by Santa Lucia president Robert Micallef.
On the other hand, there will be three candidates for the post of Vice-President to be filled by a female candidate, namely Maria Azzopardi, Christabelle Chetcuti and Dana Farrugia and five for the other two posts of Vice-Presidents Samuel Azzopardi, Adrian Casha, Peter Fenech, Pierre Miceli and Matthew Paris.
The candidates nominated to fill the post of President of the Association for the years 2024- 2028 are the following:
- MICALLEF Robert
- VASSALLO Bjorn
The candidates nominated to fill the post of Vice-President of the Association for the years 2024-2028 to be filled by a female candidate are the following:
- AZZOPARDI Maria
- CHETCUTI Christabelle
- FARRUGIA Dana
The candidates nominated to fill the remaining two (2) posts of Vice-President of the Association for the years 2024-2028 are the following:
- AZZOPARDI Samuel
- CASHA Adrian
- FENECH Peter
- MICELI Pierre
- PARIS Matthew
The female candidates who are not elected for the post of Vice-President to be filled by a female candidate, will be included in the ballot with the above-mentioned candidates for the remaining two posts of Vice-President.
