Melita re-joined Zabbar St. Patrick on top the BOV Challenge League Top 6 as they registered a comfortable 4-0 win over Marsa at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.

Karl Mohnani opened the score on the 14th. Alan Borg Olivier made it 2-0 on the 66th and four minutes later, Andre Carlos Penha da Costa extended the lead further before Matthew Debattista scored a fourth goal.

Marsa and Zabbar lead the way with 41 points, followed by Senglea 34, Pieta’ 32, Marsa 30 and Zurrieq 28.

In the Play-Out, Attard defeated neighbours Lija Athletic 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium thanks to a penalty by Jose Antonio Florez Lafawx on the 38th and Kayne Haber seven minutes in added time.

Zejtun Corinthians defeated Msida St. Joseph 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium thanks to a penalty by Tharcysio Henrique da Silva on the 56th and Leon Borg four minutes from time.

On the other hand, Tarxien Rainbows registered a dramatic 1-0 win over Swieqi United at the Victor Tedesco Stadium thanks to a goal two minutes in added time by Rundell Renold Winchester.

Fgura lead the way with 29 points, followed by Swieqi, Lija and Luqa 25, Tarxien 24, Zejtun 22, St. Andrews and Zebbug 14, Attard 11 and Msida 6.
