Birkirkara forward Maxuell Maia da Silva won the Lifestar Most Valuable Player award for the month of August.

The presentation was held on Saturday by Roberto Apap Bologna, CEO of LifeStar Insurance, ahead of Birkirkara’s thrilling fixture against Hibernians.

Maxuell Samurai notched a hat-trick in Birkirkara’s 3-3 draw with Balzan and went on to score the decisive goal in the narrow win over Zabbar St. Patrick, adding another in the 2-0 win over Mosta.
