Starting as of this weekend during Match Week 5 matches, the Malta Premier  (MP) is proud to announce a significant step towards enhancing player safety.  

As part of this new initiative, a qualified doctor will be present on standby at  every 360Sports Malta Premier match to provide immediate medical assistance,  if necessary.  

Medical assistance was always available for such matches thanks to the MFA.  The new feature is that now the clubs have teamed up together for the first time  to jointly procure and finance such a service.  

This move is a direct response to safeguard footballers during match action,  ensuring that professional medical intervention is available when required.  

The Malta Premier recognizes the importance of maintaining high standards  across all aspects of the game, particularly in terms of medical readiness.  

The introduction of on-site medical professionals reflects the MP’s commitment  to upholding the highest standards for football in Malta.  

It is a long-demanded improvement that highlights the league’s dedication to  player welfare and its proactive approach to improving the game.
