Four Premier League players suspended

Four players were suspended by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following match day 5 of the 360Sports Malta Premier.

Strahinja Jovancic (Zabbar) was banned for two matches while Henri Braham Stanic (Balzan), Oualid El Hasni (Floriana) and Higor Gabriel Fernandes Alves (Hibs) were handed a one-match ban.

Jovancic is ruled out of the games against Hibernians and Marsaxlokk. Stanic will skip the clash with Marsaxlokk, El Hasni the game against Gzira and Higor Gabriel the game against Zabbar.

In the BOV Challenge League, Jean Carlos Cloth Goncalves (Santa Lucia) was suspended for three matches while Gianluca Bugeja (Marsa) and Brandon Muscat (Tarxien) were suspended for one match.

Zebbug Rangers official Kevin Ellul was handed a one-match ban, Lija Athletic coach Joseph Galea was suspended for two matches while Pieta’ Hotspurs official Sheldon Grech was banned for six matches.

In the IZIBET Amateur League 1, Iven Zammit (Mellieha), Kurt Farrugia (Pembroke) and Rooney Gatt (Zejtun) were suspended for one match while Jake Schiavone (St. George’s) was banned for one match in the IZIBET Amateur League 2.
