360Sports Malta Premier: Marsaxlokk continue to seek their first points

Marsaxlokk continue chasing their first points this season as they take on Balzan in one of the two matches from the Opening Round of the 360Sports Malta Premier are played at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.

Five defeats in their first five outings led the club and coach Winston Muscat to part ways with mutual consent. Enzo Potenza has been appointed as new coach and will be hoping to lead the team to a first positive result on Saturday.

However, Balzan, who are currently eighth on 5 points, will be hoping to return to winning ways following a 1-1 draw with Hamrun Spartans in their last outing.

Meanwhile in the first match, Zabbar St. Patrick take on Hibernians.

After losing the first three matches, Zabbar earned four points from the last two matches, defeating Balzan 2-0 and holding Naxxar in a 3-3 draw. They currently share the second place from bottom with Naxxar Lions and Melita.

Hibernians, on the other hand, are currently sixth on eight points. They collected just two points from the last three matches in draws with Sliema and Floriana and a defeat to Birkirkara.
