Luqa St. Andrew’s moved second, on level points with Attard, in the IZIBET Amateur League 1 as they defeated Vittoriosa Stars 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Mario Jude Dominicius scored the all-important goal for Luqa.
In another match, San Gwann defeated Msida St. Joseph 3-0 at the Charles Abela Stadium. Mattia Zarb put San Gwann ahead on the 9th and Ricardo Naudel Velasquez doubled the score three minutes from the end of the first half. Ryan Muscat sealed the issue with a third goal five minutes from time.
