Floriana FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of twenty eight year old midfielder Zack Scerri.

Scerri started his career at St. Andrews but then joined Hibernians with whom he made his Premier League debut. He spent two years on loan with Gzira United in seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18, making his move a definite one in summer 2018. Scerri also served as captain for the Maroons.

The Greens had earlier signed Yann-Alexandre Fillion, Gonzalo Gamarra, Jork Becerra, Gabriel Sotomayor, Fernandinho and Elvis Mashike.
