UEFA Development Tournament: Malta beats Armenia in opening match

Malta kicked off their campaign in the UEFA Boys U16 Development Tournament with a 1-0 win over Armenia on Monday, thanks to a second-half strike from captain Ryan Debono.

Malta eventually opened the scoring in the 77th minute, after Debono was fed an excellent through pass, and when faced with the onrushing defenders, he feinted to another side before striking the ball past the goalkeeper and into the roof of the net.
