Marsaxlokk moved on top the 360Sports Malta Premier table as they left it till late to beat Sliema Wanderers 1-0 in a match from the Closing Round at the National Stadium on Saturday. 

While for the  Southseasiders, this was the second successive win, this was the third consecutive defeat for Sliema. 

Alex Tanque scored the all-important goal seven minutes from time.
