Floriana scored a late goal to rescue a point in a 2-2 draw with Mosta in a match from the 360Sports Malta Premier at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday. 

A draw which puts the Greens on level points with Birkirkara and Marsaxlokk on the 15 point mark. Mosta, on the other hand, join Zabbar on ten points. 

The Blues took the lead on ten minutes when  Carlo Zammit Lonardelli handled the ball inside the area and Clayton Failla converted from the penalty spot.  

Mosta almost doubled the score with a Chiemezie effort which hit the cross bar but on the hour, Floriana equalised  thanks to Dunstan Vella who concluded a solo effort which beat Mosta goalkeeper Ange Ngoubi Demba.

However, three minutes later, Mosta were awarded another penalty after Gonzalo Gamarra brought down Prince Afriyie and Clayton Failla made no mistake from the penalty spot.  

Three minutes from time, it was the turn of Floriana to be awarded a penalty after James Arthur floored Dunstan Vella inside the area and Franklin Sasere levelled matters for the Greens from the penalty spot.
