Mellieha and Qrendi registered comfortable wins in the IZIBET Amateur League 1  Play-Out on Sunday. 

Mellieha defeated Rabat Ajax 7-0 at the Centenary Stadium with all seven goals arriving in the last thirty minutes. Tejumola Ebenezer Ayorinde put Mellieha ahead on the hour and five minutes later Sasa Glumac doubled the score. Alexander Akl made it 3-0 on 73 minutes and Marc Bolane Adonis 4-0 on 77 minutes. In the final ten minutes, Mellieha scored another three goals thanks to Cody Baguley on 81 minutes, Craig Cilia on 86 minutes and Adonis on 87 minutes.   

On the other hamd, Brandon Bray notched a hat-trick as Qrendi defeated Pembroke Athleta 5-0 at the Sirens Stadium. 

Bray scored on 20 and 28 minutes to give Qrendi a two-goal lead. Christian Degabriele increased the score two minutes in the second half and Leo Salgado made it 4-0 on 69 minutes. Bray converted a penalty on 73 minutes for Qrendi’s fifth.
